| I finished reading it last night (it was pretty good), but there is one thing I noticed.
And I don't think it was purely the fan-girl in me that made me notice it.
Some of the things Ovan and Haseo say to each other seem a little... "Shonen-Ai" to me. And it's pretty obvious too (as obvious as Axel's secret love for Roxas =>.>=;;; )
Did anyone else notice this? =^^=;;;
I'll post what they say that makes me think this way.
Ovan says: "What's in my heart, crazy as it seems... is the one who still lovingly calls me 'Ovan' despite being reduced to this state. You, Haseo. That's why I'll protect you."
And later Haseo says to Ovan: "A year ago I'd never seen your face before. For Someone I've never even met face to face...how dare you make my heart...shake so much...like it's gonna burst?" | |

| Well, despite a bromance kind of look to it, the thing I've always believed about Ovan's and Haseo's relationship is that it is ridiculously close and intimate in its own right considering everything they've been through together and because of the other person.
Actually, there's a psychological twist we can add to this. I forget what it's called, but it happens in shows and movies all the time: it's when two characters are involved in an adrenaline-pumping and/or intense situation or struggle. Through the emotions and hormones the two feel, they often mistake it for a kind of love attachment of some kind.
Whether or not either point I made actually applies and is the intent of the people who wrote it is completely up for debate. But either way, my points stand. | |

| Cant say I considered the shounen-ai at the time but you do have a point there Yuki. Although I still don't fully agree considering everything they went through. Tri's explanation of it does make a lot of sense to me. Anyway I digress, as far as + goes I did find myself slightly shocked by the ending and wished it had gone on a bit longer.  | |
