Confession

I thought it was finally time the truth came out. I'm scared of what might happen but it's probably best that I say this now rather than later.

For a little under a year now, some... thing has caught my interest. At first, it took up a LOT of my time, and I was even confused why. As time went on I gradually accepted it, as I had some friends who were the same way. Even now this... "thing" has me thinking about it often and partaking in many creative works around it.

There are many people who don't approve of people like me. And I can understand why, but I certainly hope you guys will be okay with me, after finding out.

But, I digress, I'm sure you're dying to know what I'm talking about. Rather than using words, I will convey what I mean through a simple picture.

Get ready, this may shock some of you, but it is by no means graphic.

Yes. I like My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. I am a brony.

For those of you who don't know, a brony is a person who enjoys this show and is usually a teenager or young adult.

I was in a depression last year. A deep one, I didn't know what to do with my life and could not find a reason.

A friend of mine urged me to watch this, and having such little care for myself, I figured who cares if I watch a show for small children.

Boy, was I surprised that not only did I like this show, but it was the starting point of my depression lifting.

Since, then I have become what the internet refers to as a Brony. I would watch a new episode every week, I would chat with other people my age about it like we were little kids. It was refreshing.

I know this is quite strange but, My Little Pony has restored my faith in mankind, as it were.

And now I wish to say that out of the many of my kind, there are some who are VERY creative, having used MLP as inspiration to their music, literature, and art.

I understand if you'll see me in a different light now but, this is who I am, and if I rejected this part of me, I would most likely slump back into that depression.

Same here. I have friends all around me that watch it. Some in their late 20's. LOL But I'm Kool with it. It doesn't bother me one bit.

Don't worry Zero, it's fine. You should hear what Heaven likes to watch in his spare time. ^^;

I'd be lying if I said I hated it. And I did used to watch Sailor Moon, but they never aired past season 1 on that channel.

I haven't really seen enough to know if its good.

It's no rumor. It's a fact that they are rebooting Sailor Moon for next year and plan to air it internationally.

I would watch that.

Yeah, I saw those volumes of Sailor Moon and was like, kinda want. But, my lack of income was my downfall lol

Chances are I'll watch the reboot. Only because most other anime recently seems to be pretty bad.
