My Story Ideas

I've got like a bunch of ideas for mangas, a novel idea, and another story that's going to be in script format. Here they are:

~Manga Ideas~

Evanescent Illusion: This is my first manga idea that I actually wanna act upon. I have all the character designs and descriptions of them figured out, and have all the chapter summaries written out (100 chapters!). Because I've done so much planning on this, I'm going to make this one its own topic.

Our Legacy: This is going to be a pretty short manga idea (I'm probably gonna guess around 4-8 normal sized manga volumes). The main character is a blonde named Eden who was adopted by the main Male named Claude's Aunt and Uncle who live a somewhat normal life and attend school and all that good stuff. Eden's parents were actually involved in some crazy shit, as were Claude's parents and that is eventually why they are dead (the parents). It ends up that the Count of the city organized a series of crimes (haven't figured that out yet), framed both pairs of parents, and is doing all this to have Eden as his woman. Other characters include Hide, who Eden has a crush on, and Yu, who Claude has a crush on. These two are important as well, but I'm not gonna give away too much without ruining it. Not sure how this'll be carried out, but that's the concept for this one. I have a rough drawing of both Eden and Claude if anyone wishes to see.

Title Pending 1: This one I have yet to figure out a title (perhaps you lot could help me with it) but it is mostly going to take place in Ireland. I've discussed this one with Hashy before. It was inspired by this weird ass dream I had in which someone sent me an all expenses paid trip to Ireland and I met the real Hashy. And then some crazy shit happened, my boss was on my tail, and the UN declared that I was going to be the cause of the end of the world. So Hashy stood up, cussed them out and flipped everyone off; I also flipped out on them and left, and that was it. Those are going to be scenes in this one. ANYWAY, the main character is Tsuzanne (Tsu for short, and based off me) and the one I'm basing off Hashy is going to be Paul. The main idea of this one is that Tsuzanne's brother Adrian has been missing for a long time, and she recieves an all expense paid trip to Ireland. She sees this as a sign from Adrian and takes it. She also sees it as a chance to finally meet a dear online friend she's known for awhile (Paul). Her best friends in America are Remy and Emma (Remy has a crush on Tsu, Emma has a crush on Remy). They eventually follow her to Ireland.
Another key character is Edward, who is actually being held captive by Adrian and has an extraordinary connection with Tsu and Adrian (not gonna say, cause it's a big time spoiler.)
Another key character is Kegan, who is Paul's ex and now is with Adrian. She hates Americans... especially American women.
Rhaya is part of the secret organization that has it out for Tsuzanne and her brother, because they are cursed children and their parents (who had died) practiced in forbidden arts.
Edward, Remy, and Paul all knew each other before they knew Tsu, and were in some sort of "Brotherhood" thing.
And that's all I'm gonna say for now. I have a rough draft of Tsuzanne if anyone wishes to see.

Title Pending 2: Once again, I don't have a title for this one yet. Anyway, this takes place in a small village near a river (but spans off into the story's world later) and follows an old village legend. Every 100 years the reincarnation of the goddess(name pending) will emerge on her 18th birthday and save the village from destruction (it's threatened by government, mass flooding, terrorists, etc.) This year is Ismene's 18th birthday, and it's always been rumored that she is the goddess. She's always been frail and weak, and now sense she is turning 18 it's gotten worse. Her brother Reki won't ever let her leave the house unless he's with her, and although it drives her crazy, she understands. Her best friend is a sheriff of the town with an eye-patch and long hair (his name is still pending) and he usually takes care of her while Reki goes off to gather food and other goods. On a chance meeting while gathering food, Reki meets Lillith, a foolish girl who seems a bit idotic but handles a sword with skill. Little does he know that this woman was sent to obtain Ismene. There is a group of people who have always wanted the power of the goddess for themselves, and Lillith has been sent to obtain that. Some things happen and although Lillith eventually turns to the good side, Ismene is with the evil group.
Some things happen again and it turns out that maybe everyone was wrong on who the reincarnation of the goddess really is.
Another Key character is a woman named Rosa, who is Reki's ex-fiance (she died in a dispute over Ismene in a distant village).

Firebird: Although this is the second to last in my manga list, it is the first ever Idea I ever came up with. This takes place in the far off future on a planet called Alpha I. The three main characters are a skimpy long-haired blonde named Adessa, a long haired burnette named Kanie(I forgot how I spelled it), and a young Shinobi-type girl with dark violet hair named Yuki. When this begins the three do not know each other, but meet each other under unfortunate circumstances and are all bound by a story called... (I have it written down, I just forgot what I called it). The story mentions all 3 of their names in a very mysterious way. There are a LOT of supporting characters (who are very important) so I won't be listing them, but I do use "God" as a character who changes forms whenever. The defining characteristic of "God" is that he always has 10 angel wings (5 on each side).
This story is extremely complex, with insane characterizations, crazy plot-twists, time-paradoxes, people coming back from the dead, and it is going to be long. (expected to be longer than Evanescent). I already have 2 and a half spirals filled with comics for this one, but am going to redo them (everything but the third spiral is very rough and cheesy).
This is so down on my list because it is complex, and I would need a lot of practice to pull this off the way I want it to. This one will not be for the young or closed minded; bloody as hell, weird ass relationships, also the character "God." I have character designs for almost everyone of these, and if you wish to see a little bit of what I have drawn, I might consider showing a couple of pages. I am willing to share the character designs though if you want.

Pokerface: Well this was partly inspired by Lady Gaga's Song "Pokerface," but it was mostly inspired from a conversation I had with friends at school while eating lunch. One person said that one year for an anime or comic convention, we should make up our own super heroes and dress as them, and completely make backstories for them as though they were real. Then he started singing Pokerface, so I doodled in my spiral and it ended up being a pretty hot lady. The backstory is that Pokerface is a woman who, when she was younger had an unfortunate accident that scorched her right eye. There is a large scar on it, and that eye is now able to see into the future. That's the only basis I have so far on it, but like other superheroes, Pokerface has another personality (her normal self) that she is when she is not off stopping crime(I have yet to come up with a name for her normal self). Her right eye is never covered in her normal self, but always covered by a giant ace of spades card in her Pokerface outfit. This is a fairly new concept, so that's all I have so far. I have a rough draft of Pokerface in her superhero outfit if anyone wishes to see it

~Novel Ideas~

"Hello Misty": I only have one novel idea, and it is this. (The name Misty may change, but right now it sounds good to me). The book starts off with Misty's boyfriend asking for her hand in marriage, and after a romantic dinner they both sit down to listen to their favorite radio talk show. Much to their surprise, the talk show is interrupted by a mysterious man's voice that is talking to the country, and then more specifically to Misty. He says that they can call him "God."
After this talk show incident, a number of serial murders happen and all the dead bodies end up in Misty's room, each attached with a note that says "Hello Misty." A chain of events happen, Misty's coworkers start to consider her delusional and even her boyfriend starts to doubt her, and after everything happens and she finally meets the man who's been doing all this to her, she is in for the surprise of her life.

~Other Ideas~

"Sin": This is going to be in script format. Don't think what I want to do with this would be able to manage in a play, but I'm thinking something in which the reader has choices in certain points. Perhaps a visual novel or a video game type thing (Like Heavy Rain!)
Evelyn has been in a small village her whole life, worked for Reila and Reila's parents (Bob and Mary) for ever since she can remember. Evelyn suffers from a severe version of selective memory and borderline amnesia... and also slight cases of split personalities.
Leon just moved to town a year ago, so he's still very new, but he is a great friend to Evelyn and her other two friends. Leon is logical, smart, but unfortunately he suffers from hallucinations and delusions from when he took experimental meds as a child.
Kara is Evelyn's best friend since life. She always sticks by her no matter what. Kara suffers from severe depression.
Michael is Evelyn's other best friend and is like an older brother to Kara and Evelyn. Michael suffers from an addiction to an experimental med, which makes him schizophrenia.
In the month of October, serial murders have been going on and on, and everytime there is a note left by the victim. "Halloween is when the witches and demons come out to play. It is time for the grand one to awaken." And when Halloween comes, Evelyn and her crew are in it for some serious shit.
The story is going to be kinda like "Higurashi-esque" as in it restarts every time a certain character dies. Everytime it restarts, more information is given to prevent the death of said character, and the way I want it to work is that the reader will be able to figure it out and get a good ending before the actual thing is done.
A Lady cop is a key player, as she gives everyone certain clues.
A woman who starts to work for Reila also ends up ruining Evelyn and everyone else's life.
There is a young woman named Elsa, who happens to like tea and the occult. She helps out Evelyn and everyone else, and also helps in figuring out the culprit. There is a scenario when she gets sick of everyone and wishes to transform herself and Evelyn into witches, and destroy the human race. This is only because she was overcome by the Godly witch who somehow has a connection with Evelyn.
The other two witches is a young one who loves torturing humans, and a slightly older one who only wishes to help them.
Later there are also the Zodiac Sisters, thousands of year old demons who watch over the village (they are all female who have names of each Astrological sign. Pisces, Leo, Libra, etc. etc.) It is undetermined whether or not these girls are good, or if there is a mix of them.

Thanks! Yeah me too. It's pretty EFFED up. I'm a demented person =^^=;;; If you want to know more about the other characters and the story of Firebird, I can probably tell you what I got so far. I've gotten all the plot twists and relations written in a spiral.

I gotta post my topic on Evanescent Illusion as well. Any pics of those you wanna see?

lol, creating a story can often transform a writer (refer to my idea for Writing with Two Hands).

I'll have to fish out the spiral, but it's really insane. It's all written down cause I couldn't contain it all in my head and I didn't want to lose this one.

Perhaps I'll make its own topic as well. There's a lot of characters who are equally important, so yeah.

I'll explain more on that once I have more time and have the spiral staring back at me :3 But I'd be happy to share it with you.

btw, I voted not really 'cause, well, I don't particularly read all that much or anything. I've probably only read no more than 5 books my whole life (excluding my own).

Hahaha, well,.... Uhm, I REALLY like reading manga.
But as far as novels go..

I've only read probably.... somewhere between 5 and 10 in my life.

And there are people who read like 10-15 a year =o.o=

But yeah, it's gotta be really good for me to read it....

But hey, I don't mind reading on video games (Hell, Xenogears was practically like a book!!!!)

But yeah I understand. Haha

Well, the books I've actually read are The Boy Who Couldn't Die, Congo, Cannery Row, Nailed, and The Jungle.

Nailed was probably my favorite of all those, despite its.. intense vulgarity; it was a really compelling story and its story structure was extremely suspenseful.

I haven't read any of those.
My favorite series of books are The Looking Glass Wars Trilogy. It starts with The Looking Glass Wars, then Seeing Redd, then ends with Archenemy. It's based off of Alice in Wonderland with a twist, in which her name is actually Alyss Heart and is from Wonderland, and her evil aunt Redd killed her mother. It's very fantasy-ish and I love it.
It also has a series of graphic novels called Hatter M. that follows it.

Another one of my favorite books is by Madeliene L'Engle and it's called The Arm of the Starfish. It's about a 20-some yr. old boy who goes off to Europe to study the reproductive properties of starfish with a scientist, and ends up getting involved in some serious shit and kidnapping and murder happens. It's very realistic and very interesting.
